It supports safe operation at pH levels up to 9.0 while preserving the integrity and long-term performance of aluminum heat exchangers.

How to Measure Purified Tannin
A simple colorimetric test is needed to measure the tannins' residual in a loop.
In case of product overfeed, closed loop system will be protected against corrosion as long as the targeted pH range is being followed.
Monitoring the System
Operators should regularly test pH, conductivity, and tannin residual to ensure proper water treatment. Regular monitoring helps maintain stable system protection.

Testing
Operators should test pH, conductivity, and residual tannin to verify that the treatment program remains within the target range. Testing is recommended once per week using The Tannin Guys closed-loop test kits.

Log Book
All test results should be recorded in a log book by the operator performing the tests. This record helps track system performance and maintain program control.

Recirculation
When systems are shut down, water should be recirculated at least 1 hour per day to maintain continuous surface protection inside the system.
